Yeah, he doesn't want things to be worse with her mom. But the thing is, Laura Cunningham is never going to like him. And she expects Chrissy to be thin, pretty, and perfect at all times. This pregnancy isn't going to let her be any of those things. It's essentially her mother's worst nightmare. And she's a little terrified of what will happen when she finally works up the courage to tell her. She thinks she's more terrified of hearing Billy's answer, though.
