That laugh breaks her heart. A hand presses against her chest like it might be able to soothe it. "Billy, look at me." It's more a soft request than a demand, her hand reaching out to cup his cheek. If he doesn't turn his head to look toward her, she'll try to gently nudge him in the right direction.
