The words echo in Robin's mind as she watches Chrissy slip away to go turn off the music. She bites her lip, shaking her head and trying to remind herself that she probably just meant it as a friend. Even if Chrissy would have no problem with Robin liking girls, the chance that she likes girls herself is... Likely way too small for Robin to want to think about.
So, she shoves those feelings into a box in her mind and stands up as well, grabbing her backpack and moving to put it away properly in the room that used to be Billy's, but is hers now. Little by little, she's been making it more her own, with posters and knick knacks to give it a slightly more girly touch. Not as girly as Chrissy's room, sure, but enough.
She reemerges into the living room and positions herself a bit awkwardly by the doorway. ]
[The time Robin's in her new room gives her a little breathing space. She's still flushed and a little flustered, but she's at least able to smile through it in an attempt to hide the fact she's a little on edge.
Then she has to go and turn around to take notice of Robin standing by the doorway. The sight is enough to make her take pause and she laughs at herself, because this? It's ridiculous.]
Yeah, okay. [She wants to insist that she can do it alone, that Robin doesn't need to lift a finger. What she does instead is go over to sweep Robin up in an explanation of what all she's trying to get done before the boys get back home. And really, maybe she creates more chores than there need to be, just for an excuse to get to hang together a little longer.
If Robin figures it out, she's at least kind enough not to say anything. But by the time they finish up an hour or so later, and she excuses herself to go out on a jog, she's feeling a lot less flustered and more like herself.]
