[ Eddie lets out a sigh of relief. At least there's that. Ever since they left the hospital he's been scared that he's not enough to keep her safe, and while he's still not convinced that'll last, at least she slept. A good, long, peaceful sleep.

He smiles into the kiss, but it doesn't last. Seeing her almost falling out of his t-shirt is one hell of a distraction, and he's gonna have to get a better look at her in the light - but surprisingly, that's not the main thing on his mind as he stands to follow her into the next room.

Uh - no no no. I don't care if you're used to being hungry, you have to eat something. We've been out here for a long time and you're gonna need energy to heal up.

[ People at school would gossip about Chrissy from time to time - about how rarely she ate lunch, or how shaky she was sometimes. It wasn't his business. So what if a cheerleader didn't want to eat? Sounded about par for the course to him at the time.

Knowing what he knows now - even just from the remarks Chrissy's made here and there about her mother - it's a little different. He sighs, leaning against the doorway to the small kitchen.

We'll find something to eat and then after I'll roll you that joint I promised you. Sound like a deal?
