[ Eddie's never seen anyone this hurt or this scared before, and it breaks his heart to see her like this. She'd been so freaked out when they first met up, but he thought she was just nervous. Turns out she had more to be nervous about than he'd ever imagined.

Her hand reaches for his, and he swallows at the lump in his throat before squeezing her hand. Gently. Just enough that she knows he's not going anywhere without her right now.

Not safe? Here, lean on me if you need to.

[ No matter what explanation she can give, Eddie's got to get her to a hospital, so they make their way to the door. It's hard for him to even look at her arm, and for the first time he wishes he'd actually gone for first aid training or something. Something that'd help her right now.

He knows what he saw - her eyes white, her body lifting from the ground - and the resistance he'd felt when he tried to pull her down. None of it makes sense, but whatever it is, it's real.

[ Eddie shakes his head, opening the passenger door to his van so he can help her climb inside. He even does up her seatbelt. Letting out a shaky sigh, he meets her eyes. ]

Floating there. In the air. Like you were possessed. No matter what I did, you wouldn't respond, so I...

[ Breaking eye contact, Eddie closes the door to the van before circling around to the driver's side, climbing in and starting the engine. Instead of finishing his thought, he hits the gas so they can swerve out of the trailer park, his heart racing. The important thing right now is to get her help. ]
